Salisbury Steak
This Salisbury Steak is classic comfort food done simply and right. It is rich, savory, and full of that homemade flavor that feels like a warm, hearty meal at the end of a long day. Tender beef patties are seasoned and pan seared, then finished in a deep, flavorful onion gravy that brings everything together. This recipe keeps things approachable while still delivering that traditional taste. The patties are made with simple pantry ingredients that add both flavor and moisture, giving you a tender texture that holds together perfectly. The combination of Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and onion soup mix builds a savory, slightly tangy base that makes the beef anything but bland. The gravy is where this dish really shines. Made right in the same pan, it captures all those browned bits left behind from searing the patties. Butter and flour create a simple roux, which thickens the gravy and gives it that smooth, rich consistency. Beef broth, a splash of Worcestershire, and onion soup mix deepen the flavor, creating a savory sauce that coats every bite.
